EURIST achieves it´s mission through:

  • the development and dissemination of best practice examples in passenger and freight transport, predominantly from Europe;
  • capacity enhancement of transport planners and lectures at educational and research institutions
  • initiating or supporting projects that aim to reduce the need for transport, initiate a shift tomore environmentally, socially and economically sustainable modes; and improve transport system efficiency

 

 

This is done in cooperation with research institutions and other organisations in the transport and development sectors.
